Course Description

This course will teach students how to engage buyers, in today’s Internet-driven and social media-driven marketing environment. First traditional marketing principles will be covered and then the focus will be on the Internet and other technologies that have had a profound effect on how marketing is approached today. Students will use the internet extensively as a research tool and in evaluation of other websites. As a capstone project, students will be instructed in basic web design and design their own website to market a specific product or company for which they have developed a marketing plan and strategy.
